As we all know, the internet was created for cat pictures, videos, and memes. And for the record, I never *don’t* want pictures of your cats.

And of the many, many cat memes, cat breading is a tried and true meme format for cats. It’s simple – you take out the inside of a piece of bread, and put it around your cat’s face. While it doesn’t make any sense at all, it doesn’t harm or hurt the cats and it’s funny. It’s even made its way into one of my favorite shows, South Park.
There’s also the pun that you can say they’re “inbred,” if you want to go there I guess.
I think I’m too old to fully understand and appreciate Snapchat. I don’t really understand the benefit of typing a message just for it to disappear after it’s been read, and then when the other person responds to you, you don’t remember what you’d sent them in the first place. This ultimately results in half the conversation reminding each other what you were talking about or explaining what your last message sent. But then again, I’m not Snapchat’s target demographic.
That said, I immediately tested it out on two of my cats, and can confirm that the filter works and makes for fun pictures. My cats were not nearly as enthusiastic about it as I was, but to be fair I did sort of wake them up from taking a nap:
I posted a video of my cats on the Skeptical Kitten Facebook page as well:

Additionally the number of daily active users dropped by three million to 188 million between April and June. It was the first time the company had reported a drop in daily active users.
