Synagogue Shooter identified as Christian nationalist, yelled ‘All Jews must die’
A horrific tragedy – the gunman at a Pittsburgh synagogue yelled “all Jews must die” before murdering at least eleven people earlier today. Six others were injured, however at the time of this writing, it is unknown what their conditions are. There were nearly 100 people inside the synagogue before the shooting started.
The shooter was identified as Robert Bowers, who appears to be a Christian nationalist and white supremacist – which the FBI views as just as much of a threat as ISIS.
Bowers reportedly was transported to a hospital after he surrendered to law enforcement.
Several things posted on his social media accounts show Bowers making several anti-Semitic statements.
Before the shooting today, Bowers allegedly posted a chilling message on Gab (an alt-right version of Twitter) saying “I can’t sit by and watch my people get slaughtered. Screw your optics, I’m going in.”

Bowers’ bio was: “jews are the children of satan. (john 8:44) — —- the lord jesus christ is come in the flesh.”
However, he was not a Trump supporter according to his own statements, as Newsweek pointed out:
“Trump is a globalist, not a nationalist,” Bowers wrote. “There is no #MAGA as long as there is a kike infestation.”
In another post, Bowers wrote of the president: “For the record, I did not vote for him nor have I owned, worn or even touched a maga hat.”
Okay, so he claims he doesn’t support Trump, but name another politician whose main campaign promise was to build a wall or to stop immigration?
There are more preserved posts by Bowers on Imgur, but I feel the need to warn you that many, if not all, of the posts are extremely disturbing.
The events of today are horrifying, sickening, disturbing, and terribly saddening.
I’m honestly beginning to think that foreign terrorists aren’t the bogeyman we’ve been led to believe when we have domestic terrorists like Christian white supremacists running around inside our own borders.
It also makes me wonder how many mass shootings will be enough before we realize that we have a gun problem in America. Just for the record, today is the 300th day of 2018, and today’s shooting shooting is the 294th mass shooting in 2018.
Have we made America great again yet?
