Opinionated baby-man gives hot take on the Golden Globes nobody asked for

Joshua Feuerstein, who you may remember as the snowflake who got all uppity over red Starbucks cups a couple years ago, has some interesting insight into the Golden Globes last night.

Joshua Feuerstein

If you’re not familiar with Feuerstein, here’s a quick primer on him: Josh is an evangelical Facebook preacher who takes poorly edited unedited vertical videos of him shouting into his phone, despite raising $20,000 on GoFundMe for a professional camera. He’s the guy who shot a video of himself laying in bed encouraging people to attack Planned Parenthood doctors. He’s also said completely ridiculous things such as sportsball coaches not being allowed to pray with their teams is “Christian Holocaust” and even said that earthquakes are proof that Jesus is coming. You know, real rational and down-to-Earth type stuff.

The Golden Globes

Last night was the 75th Golden Globes. Typically a night for stars to shine and revel in their accomplishments, Sunday’s affair had a different tone. In response to the heightened awareness of and continued efforts to fight sexual harassment, nearly all of the celebrity attendees to the event wore black in solidarity with #TimesUp, a legal defense fund for victims of sexual harassment started by Hollywood women. (The night was capped, of course, with Oprah Winfrey giving a rousing acceptance speech that some think may be the start of a presidential candidacy in 2020.)

Feuerstein’s Fury

Enter the lead-singer-of-Smashmouth‘s-forgotten-brother, Joshua Feuerstein. Feuerstein took to his Facebook page with over 2.3 million followers to give his hot take on the fashion before the show.

Apparently, Kevin James’s Paul Blart: Mall Cop‘s understudy, Josh, is confused about a couple things. Lucky for him, we’re here to help.

First, a grammar lesson:

1. Josh, you’re part of the reason the #MeToo movement is relevant and likely will be for a long time. 👍
Josh, your part of the reason the #MeToo movement is relevant and likely will be for a long time. 👎

2. Your attitude towards women is nothing short of repulsive and demonstrates the need for women to be vocal about harassment. 👍

Second, I’m not sure you know the definition of the word “hypocrisy.” Hypocrisy would be saying something so utterly repulsive that any decent human being with any shred of morality would find offensive, while pretending to espouse wholesome “Christian values” and beliefs.

Be careful Josh, your sanctimony is showing!

Third, when you say “it’s kind of hard to fight sexual harassment…when you’re dressed like a hooker,” you might as well be saying that sex workers are lesser than and deserve whatever comes to them, and if you happen to have the audacity to let some skin show, you do too.

Thank you, Joshua, for proving exactly why this movement is necessary.
