Kanye West is writing a book about philosophy – No, seriously

According to Page Six, the esteemed public thinker known as Kanye West is writing a book about philosophy. And no, this is not satire.

Kanye shared his driving idea behind the book:

I’ve got this philosophy — or let’s say it’s just a concept, because sometimes philosophy sounds too heavy-handed. I’ve got a concept about photographs, and I’m on the fence about photographs — about human beings being obsessed with photographs — because it takes you out of the now and transports you into the past or transports you into the future.

The book is going to be called Break the Simulation. 

Again, this is a real thing that’s happening. This is not satire.

I, for one, am extremely excited to see Kanye branch out like this. Yes, he’s going to get pushback, but perhaps he will draw inspiration from the famed philosopher T. Swift:
