Fox News host apparently gets off on watching kids get hit with tear gas
I had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. I hardly worked, essentially didn’t pay any attention to comment sections on the various social media channels I run, ate a lot of deep fried turkey, and ate more than my fair share of leftovers. If I’m being honest, the highlight of my weekend was the leftovers, as illustrated by a meme I made:
But family, friends, and food weren’t the highlight for many conservatives this past weekend.
No, for people like Fox News host Tomi Lahren, the highlight was kids getting hit with tear gas was the highlight of their weekend.
In her own words:
Bum-rushing the border is a CHOICE and has consequences. Watching the USA FINALLY defend our borders was the HIGHLIGHT of my Thanksgiving weekend.🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I don’t really understand why people are outraged by Lahren at this point. She’s dumb, but she’s not stupid. She knows her lane, and she’s staying in it.

Saying things that are offensive is what Tomi Lahren does. If Tomi Lahren didn’t say the dumb things that Tomi Lahren says, then Tomi Lahren would cease to exist as Tomi Lahren. People like her require a foil to remain relevant. If she didn’t have some sort of “villain” or cause she was fighting, nobody would talk or think about her.
People like Tomi Lahren thrive on outrage.
It fuels them. It’s what they need.
So I’m not really all that upset about Tomi Lahren saying something like this. Because it’s expected. Nobody should be surprised.
This is meant to be a distraction. To get people on Twitter or Facebook talking about her and her idiotic statement instead of staying focused on actual issues.
Instead of being offended by a dumb person saying dumb things, I feel pity for her. I have to take her words at face value, and if seeing civilians get tear gassed was the “HIGHLIGHT” of your Thanksgiving weekend, then damn, I’m so sorry your life is that empty, Tomi.
And I’m not the only one who felt this way.
Mine was being with my family.

Imagine getting off on seeing children gassed https://t.co/DPQmN5EXlf

This takes sadism to levels that not even *I* could have imagined.
If that was the highlight of your Thanksgiving, does that mean your friends and family can’t stand you either? 😂

I’ve always wondered what holidays are like for people who are miserable.
Imagine being this happy at the suffering of others.

If you can’t punch up, punch down I guess.
If watching desperate men, women and children choke and be temporarily blinded by tear gas was the highlight of your Thanksgiving, please make an appointment to see a counselor immediately. There are substantial underlying issues. https://t.co/3PClkXlehH

It’s a bit psychopathic, I agree.
But hey, at least tear gas is natural. And as my fans know, if something is natural, that means it’s good for you!
While arguing Monday that the use of tear gas on hundreds of migrants and asylum-seekers near the U.S. border the previous day was justified, a Fox News guest asserted: “It’s natural. You could actually put it on your nachos and eat it.” [Source]
